Job summary

Responsibilities

• Observes, reports, and documents signs and symptoms or changes in patient behavior.
• Interacts with patients therapeutically.
• Assists and participates in group activities and patient teaching groups.
• Makes rounds on assigned patients at least every half hour during shift.
• Responds to patients with empathy while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
• Participates in unit-based process improvement activities.
• May include on-call duties as requested by administration.
• Completes all mandatory training per facility policy.
