This position is located in the Bureau of Hospitals, Community Services, and Emergency Management/Emergency Preparedness Coordination Unit.
NOTE: THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL AND/OR OVERNIGHT STAYS.
Under general supervision of the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator II.
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Able to accommodate roundtrip for up to four (4) hours and distances of up to 400 miles and may require occasional overnight stay. Subject to duty and/or call on a 24-hour basis during an emergency. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds to a distance and/or height of up to 20 feet. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb as part of the inspection process if needed.

A high school diploma and two (2) years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree in security and protective services, business or emergency management or related field.
DRIVING RECORD: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver’s license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
