Job summary

Macedonia City is seeking responsible, calm, and decisive individuals to join the full-time Police & Fire Dispatch team. You will operate radio systems, answer and transmit 911 and non-emergency calls for multiple communities, and perform computer-aided dispatch (CAD) data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass psychological and polygraph tests, background check, and drug screening.
• Non-smoker for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate radio, answer and transmit emergency (911) and non-emergency calls for Macedonia and nearby communities.
• Enter incident and dispatch data in CAD system accurately and promptly.
• Support police, fire and rescue dispatch operations across multiple jurisdictions.
