Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, seeks an experienced emergency physician to join our Level III trauma center. You will provide high-quality ED care, participate in teaching residents and medical students, and collaborate with a large multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible.
• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care at a Level III trauma center.
• Participate in teaching residents, medical students, PA/ARNP students.
• Coordinate inpatient consents, admissions, and transfers within MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
