Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (Emergency) to support Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care, monitor patients, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and activities of daily living, helping to restore comfort and dignity for our patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and adherence to infection control practices, with training requirements such as BLS and crisis intervention within specified

Qualifications

BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
Healthcare experience from a hospital environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
