Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System in Americus, GA is seeking a Paramedic to assist the patient care team across the full spectrum of emergency medical services. Qualifications

• Emergency Medical Services degree required.
• Paramedic license in Georgia required or active.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as a member of the emergency care team.
• Receives and/or gives report to supervisor or nurse as needed.
• Notifies physician and/or RN of significant changes in patient condition.
• Assists in development of patient care plan in consultation with supervisor or physician.
• Advances airway management and administers prescribed medications under supervision.
• Maintains supply carts and prepares instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports discharge/transfer processes and patient escort/transport.

Education

Vocational / Technical Degree in Emergency Medical Services

2 year / Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Services
