Animal Urgent Care (AUC Northeast) is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our newly established 24/7 emergency hospital in Commerce City, CO. This role requires skill in emergency and critical care, offering a competitive hourly rate of $30 - $33 based on experience.

The position involves working collaboratively in a high-pressure environment, delivering critical patient care, and communicating effectively with pet owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in veterinary surgery, anesthesia, or emergency care.
• Experience in a fast-paced emergency or multi-doctor hospital required.
• Strong understanding of anesthesia monitoring and patient stability parameters.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments on hospitalized and emergency patients.
• Manage IV fluid therapy and place intravenous catheters.
• Provide transfusion therapy and conduct patient monitoring.
