Job summary

Lovelace Emergency Orthopedic Group in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seeks a PA or NP to join as a full-time clinical provider. The role involves ED evaluation and management of orthopedic patients, hospital rounding, and pre-/post-operative care, with surgical first assist duties including complex fractures.

Collaboration with Emergency Orthopedic Service physicians ensures high-quality care across settings. The APP works with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe tech

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with prescriptive authority in New Mexico.
• DEA license required.
• New grads accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and management of orthopedic patients in the Emergency Department.
• Hospital rounding.
• Pre- and post-operative care.
• Orthopedic surgical first assist duties, including complex fracture procedures.
• Follow-up care in the clinic setting.

Education
