Job summary

Lovelace Emergency Orthopedic Group in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a PA or NP to join our Emergency Department team. This is a full-time role with no call and involves managing orthopedic patients in the ED, hospital rounding, and pre-/post-operative care.

You will work closely with Emergency Orthopedic Service physicians to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology for improved documentation and workflow.

Qualifications

• NP/PA must hold prescriptive authority in New Mexico.
• DEA license is required for practice.
• New graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and management of orthopedic patients in the Emergency Department.
• Hospital rounding and pre-/post-operative care.
• Orthopedic surgical first assist duties including complex fracture procedures.
• Follow-up care in the clinic setting.

Education

Licensed NP or PA with prescriptive authority in New Mexico
