Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
• Two years of applicable work experience in fields such as emergency management or homeland security, or an equivalent combination of education and six years of experience.
• Completion of FEMA ICS training (ICS 100-200) and NIMS training (IS 700-800) or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate division-wide emergency planning, preparedness initiatives, training, exercises, and response activities.
• Support EOC activations as a member of the assigned EOC team.
• Oversee COOP planning, hazard mitigation, recovery planning, and compliance with state/federal requirements.
