Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. You will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate nursing processes, and collaborate within a high-volume ED that emphasizes safety, compassion, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication.

Education

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
