Job summary

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) is seeking an Emergency Call Basis Nurse Technician in Tulsa, OK. This role supports the acute Med-Surg/7th Floor team, working 12-hour shifts across a 28-day cycle and covering summer and winter holidays as needed.

The Nurse Technician assists RNs, maintains a safe patient environment, and participates in tests/procedures under supervision. A high school diploma, BLS, and 0–6 months related healthcare experience are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification prior to start date, or available within 60 days.
• Zero to six months experience as Nurse Aide or EMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with direct and indirect patient care in a safe environment.
• Support nursing staff to achieve optimum patient outcomes.
• Performs caregiver tasks as unit/age appropriate under RN direction.
