Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Master’s or doctorate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage acutely ill or injured patients of all ages.
• Treat patients with varying levels of acuity and perform procedures in collaboration with the Emergency Unit attending physician.
• Utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs, complete health history and physical exam, plan and implement a care plan, prescribe medications, assess risk factors, and refer patients as needed.
