Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will coordinate and deliver patient care across neonates to geriatrics in a fast-paced ED, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.

The position calls for a minimum of three years in emergency care, valid RN licensure, and current CPR/BLS with ACLS or PALS preferred. Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years ER experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC and TNCC preferred.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for all ages in the ER.
• Perform head-to-toe and psychosocial assessments.
• Prioritize needs based on assessments and triage patients.
• Supervise ER Techs and support staff.
• Maintain medication safety and administer medications per rights.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality initiatives.
