Qualifications

• Five years progressive nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Two years managerial experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Current RN license in California.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care per standards and policies in the ED.
• Provide safe, effective patient care in a cost-conscious manner.
• Demonstrate leadership, delegate, organize department.
• Develop communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Oversee budgeting and staffing; participate in hires and training.
• Plan and monitor staffing schedules with the staffing coordinator.
