Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Performs nursing assessments, plans and evaluates patient care with the care team.
• Develops and communicates an age-appropriate plan of care with patient/family.
• Ensures discharge planning for continuity of care and referrals.
• Delivers direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
