Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an MD and/or PhD in the appropriate scientific field.
• Academic appointment at Assistant Professor level or higher in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in grant writing, funding acquisition, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Vice Chair to advance national and international reputation of the department.
• Ensure accurate data collection and analysis for research experiments; interpret data statistically.
• Prepare and present papers as principal investigator on research projects.
• Oversee research team: hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and disciplinary actions when needed.
