Emergency Medicine Radiologist

Pittsburgh, PA

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a full-time Emergency Radiologist to provide remote 3rd shift coverage across various AHN facilities.

Job Duties:

1. Providing diagnostic emergency radiology coverage at an academic medical center, including an adult Level 1 trauma center and a Level 2 trauma center.
2. Coverage also extends to the emergency departments of community hospitals.
3. The work schedule consists of 7-day overnight blocks every third week, with shifts of 9 hours on weekdays and 10 hours on weekends.
4. All AHN facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and PACS systems.

Qualifications:

• Training in emergency/trauma radiology or related fields such as abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal, or neuroradiology with an emphasis on emergency and trauma radiology.
• Demonstrated interest in emergency radiology with strong clinical skills across modalities and organ systems.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting and work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in reading US, CT, MRI, and conventional radiography; image-guided procedures are not required.

Note: Posted salary ranges are based on experience, quality bonuses, and weekend call. Benefits, 401K match, malpractice coverage, and productivity bonuses are not included in the posted salary.
