Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens assignments in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The role covers varying shifts—nights, swings, days—with weekend and holiday coverage to meet patient needs.

Expect high-acuity cases and a full scope of EM procedures, including airway management and ultrasound-guided lines. We handle credentialing, travel, and housing, offering weekly pay and comprehensive malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years emergency medicine experience or residency training required.
• Intubation, cricothyrotomy, and ultrasound-guided central lines required.
• Emergency procedures include codes, conscious sedation, and airway management.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients across newborn to geriatric ages.
• Work with varying shifts including nights, swings, days with weekend/holiday coverage.
• Collaborate with ED team to manage high-acuity patients (ESI 1-5).
