Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. You will work varying shifts including nights and weekends, with coverage of all ages from neonatal to geriatric.

The role requires 3–5 years of emergency medicine experience or residency training, with proficiency in intubation, cricothyrotomy, and ultrasound-guided central lines. Epic EMR is used and weekly pay with housing and travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years emergency medicine experience or residency training required.
• High acuity patients (ESI 1–5).
• EMR: Epic used in this assignment.
• Intubation, cricothyrotomy, and ultrasound-guided central lines required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients from newborn to geriatric ages.
• Manage varying shifts including nights, swings, days, with weekend and holiday coverage.
• Care for high-acuity presentations in a fast-paced setting.
