Job summary

Sound Physicians in Levelland, TX, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a rural ED with 7 beds and Level IV trauma designation. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive, on-site team, collaborating with hospital partners to ensure smooth transitions and excellent patient outcomes.

The role offers a flexible schedule with 1099 full-time, part-time, or PRN options and a comprehensive benefits package to support clinicians in the community.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or family/internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality patient care to a rural emergency department with 7 ED beds, ~6,400 annual visits, and Level IV trauma designation.
• Manage a workload averaging 1 patient per hour.
• Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to every patient, every time.
• Foster lasting relationships with hospital partners and lead in quality across the ED care experience.
