Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 – EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN (PER DIEM). This role joins Sturdy Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department, which sees over 49,000 annual ED visits and offers full specialty back‑up with 24‑hour hospitalist coverage.
Our Emergency Department provides up to quadruple provider coverage per day with an additional staffed fast‑track area. Shifts are 8.5 to 10 hours, evenings (4:30p‑1:30a and 6:00p‑2:30a) and weekend availability are preferred. No overnight shifts. The hourly rate depends on experience.
The position requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital‑based emergency department or non‑urgent care area and includes malpractice (occurrence type) coverage.
Sturdy Memorial Hospital is located in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 142‑bed community hospital serves a population of 170,000 in suburban communities of Boston and Providence, situated 30‑45 minutes from Boston and 15 minutes from Providence.
Salary Range: $259,883.61–$415,813.77 (annual approximate for full‑time). Actual compensation will be determined after taking into account work history, experience, skill set, and education.
