About EBNHC Satellite Emergency Department:

Join a department dedicated to service, growing clinical strength, and establishing its proper place in emergency medicine within an underserved but rapidly gentrifying area on the Boston Harbor waterfront. This satellite emergency department is affiliated with Boston Medical Center, located minutes from Boston's premier academic medical centers. The department receives complete support from administration and leadership, comprising a democratic group of emergency physicians and APPs where your opinion counts. We operate with three physician shifts and three overlapping shifts of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The department handles low to moderate acuity cases, with potential admissions transferred ED to ED for further evaluation and disposition.

This facility provides emergency services for approximately 35,000 patients annually. It is equipped with a level two laboratory and basic radiology services, with a CT scanner coming soon. The recent $5 million renovation includes a dedicated Fast Track area. Certified interpreters are available on-site to assist our diverse patient population, with access to off-site interpreters 24/7. BlueWater has partnered with EBNHC to manage, staff, and expand the emergency department services to better serve the community.
