Job summary

Emcareers seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a community hospital in Indiana. The 15-bed ED sees ~17,000 patients annually and operates with 24-hour physician coverage and supportive APP staff in a well-established program.

You will evaluate and treat ED patients, perform procedures, collaborate with APPs and specialists, and support efficient throughput and disposition planning in a physician-led team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Active Indiana license for presentation.
• Active DEA license required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine/Internal Medicine/Family Medicine.
• CSR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat emergency department patients.
• Perform emergency medicine procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with APPs and consulting specialists.
• Provide high-quality patient-centered emergency care.
• Participate in efficient patient throughput and disposition planning.
