Aspire Talent Solutions is recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician for Mattoon, IL. This full-time role offers $475,000 per year and a 3-shift, 15-shift/month schedule (6a–4p, 1p–11p, 4p–2a).

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, IL license/eligibility, and a DEA registration are required. Excellent support, favorable burnout metrics, and strong compensation accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a 32-bed ED.
• Collaborate with a second physician for double-coverage.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity cases.
• Coordinate care with on-site specialties and document encounters.
