TEEMA is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens coverage in Central Illinois. The position offers competitive pay and the chance to work at a Level II trauma facility with about 30,000 ER visits annually.

Shifts include day and night blocks with no on-call requirement, featuring double and triple coverage as needed. Coverage through the end of 2024 with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABOEM).
• Active Illinois medical license.
• DEA, CS.
• ATLS.
• Proof of COVID vaccination.
• Comfortable seeing patients in all age groups.
• Comfortable with standard emergency medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• ER shifts at Level II trauma facility (~30K annual visits).
• Coverage times include 12:00–12:00, 12:00–12:00, 8:00–8:00, 8:00–8:00 shifts available.
• No on-call requirement.
• Double and triple coverage as needed.
• Coverage through end of 2024 with possible extension.

What you will be doing

Setting/Schedule

• Level II trauma facility- Approximately 30K annual ER visits

• 12:00p-12:00a, 12:00a-12:00p, 8:00a-8:00p 8:00p-8:00a shifts are available

• No call

• Double and triple coverage

• Coverage needed through the end of 2024, with possible extension

What you must have

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABOEM)

• Active Illinois License

• DEA, CS

• ATLS

• Proof of COVID vaccination
