Job summary

Optigy is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician (EM/FP/IM) for a full-time role at a Level IV Trauma Center in Smithville, TX. Board-certified or board-eligible in EM/FP/IM with ED experience is preferred, with Texas licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience.
• Active Texas medical licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Ability to work within a Level IV Trauma Center with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care for all ages.
• Work independently and with a supportive team in a 6-bed ED.
• Manage patient flow in a low-volume ED (~8,000 visits/year).
• Utilize on-site imaging and diagnostics and participate in trauma transfers.
• Document encounters in Cerner EMR and engage in professional development.
