Emergency Medicine Physician - Uniontown Hospital
System Medical Group seeks a physician to join our community emergency medicine practice. We offer competitive private practice compensation aligned with our mission, vision, values, and academic connections. Practice emergency medicine with a dedicated team for the right reasons.
Uniontown Hospital has served Fayette County and surrounding areas for over a century, providing comprehensive medical care. Our services include an award-winning Cardiology Department and catheterization lab, a Stroke Center, and a state-of-the-art Wound Healing Center.
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree, be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license, and have completed an accredited residency program. Emergency Medicine Board Certification is required. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible via a recognized American Board of Medical Specialties board.
The Department of Emergency Medicine serves over 550,000 patients across 23 locations in Appalachia, within the WVU Health System, West Virginia’s largest health system and employer, with over 2,400 beds, 3,900 providers, and 30,000 employees. The system includes a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown and hospitals across West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
