Position Overview

Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physician Position in Effingham, IL with National Wound Physician Group

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities within a 40-60 mile radius.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Document clinical findings in real-time during rounds using proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Employment Details

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm) or part-time options available.
• No call or weekend responsibilities.
• W2 employment contract; no work visa sponsorship available.
