Job summary

Sycamore Physician Contracting LLC seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a permanent position in the Jacksonville area, Florida. The role involves working mostly 9–10 hour shifts with some 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will cover mixed EDs (hospital and freestanding) with an Epic EMR and AI scribe support. Expect productivity of 1.6–2.6 patients per hour across sites with ED volumes of ~20,000–65,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine residency completion required.
• Emergency medicine board certification or eligibility.
• ACLS and PALS requirements depend on board status.
• Florida licensure required.
• Must be able to work nights and care for children.
• No visa sponsorship.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope emergency medicine care including airway management, chest tubes, central lines, emergency stabilization, ultrasound, and procedural sedation.
• Care for a mixed patient population across hospital EDs and freestanding EDs.
• Collaborate with a physician oversight and clinical team; operate in an Epic EMR environment with dictation and AI scribe support.
• Meet productivity expectations of 1.6–2.6 patients per hour.
• Work schedule primarily 9–10 hour shifts with occasional 12-hour shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Compensation and logistics
