Edphysician is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join UT Health - Quitman in Quitman, Texas. You will provide quality care in a collegial environment, accommodating a patient volume of 13,000 annually in an 11-bed emergency department.

Qualifications

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through ABEM or AOBEM.
• Boarded in ABIM, AOBIM, ABFM, or AOBFM with EM experience is acceptable.

• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain it before start date.

• Annual patient volume of 13,000
• 11-bed ED
• EMR: EPIC
• CLEO dictation for efficient, accurate clinical documentation, reducing administrative responsibility and supporting real-time patient care
• 24 hours of physician coverage; 12- and 24-hour shifts available

Position Requirements

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Will also consider those boarded in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM) with EM experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
