Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician for UT Health Henderson in Henderson, Texas. You will practice in a modern ED serving a diverse patient population, supported by experienced nursing staff and system-wide resources within a physician-led health system.

The role offers excellent hourly pay, a generous sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and tail coverage. Board certification or eligibility in EM is required, with Texas license and DEA prior to start date.

About UT Health- Henderson Emergency Department

• Annual patient volume of 13,500
• 12-bed ED
• EMR: EPIC
• CLEO dictation for efficient, accurate clinical documentation, reducing administrative responsibility and supporting real-time patient care
• 24 hours of physician coverage; offering 12 or 24-hour shifts

Position Requirements

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Will also consider those boarded in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM) with emergency medicine experience
• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date

Pay Structure

• Independent contractor status (1099) status
