For over 60 years, UF Health Leesburg Hospital has been a premier medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services in the region. It features advanced cardiovascular services, including one of Florida's largest open-heart programs, along with orthopedics, robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery, emergency and stroke care, labor and delivery, and more.

Emergency Department Overview

• 9–10 hour shifts with APC coverage
• 24/7 access to X-ray, ultrasound, CT, full lab services, and respiratory therapists
• EMR system: EPIC
• Employment types: PRN, part-time, or full-time

Candidates must be board certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM), or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with recent emergency medicine experience. Active ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are required. Completion of an accredited residency program is necessary.
