Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama. You will deliver acute care in a busy ED and treat both high-acuity trauma and lower-acuity patients in a fast-track area.

You will work with board-certified physicians, educate residents and students, and may cover shifts including nights. The schedule is about 14 shifts per month with a 7-day block off, offering a flexible and dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced, board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Engage in educational activities with residents and medical students.
• Participate in shift coverage, including the possibility of a nocturnist schedule.
• Enjoy a flexible schedule of approximately 14 shifts per month with a 7-day block off.
