Job summary

Society of Critical Care Medicine seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join an active Army hospital team at Fort Benning, GA. The role involves fast-paced ER work for a broad age range, with start ASAP and target spring/summer 2026.

Board certification in EM or residency-trained with 4 years ER experience, MD or DO from an accredited school, and valid medical license are required. CPR is mandatory; ACLS/PALS/ATLS are desirable. Salary range listed in ad: $123k–$350k.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency in emergency medicine.
• Board certified in emergency medicine or residency trained with 4 years ER experience.
• Current state medical license and active licensure to practice.
• CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Triage and diagnosis in the Emergency Room with diverse, complex cases.
• Make immediate, critical decisions and initiate treatment for life-threatening emergencies.
• Direct patient treatment and refer to specialists when needed.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as required (I&D, suturing).
• Instruct and supervise other medical staff as a Senior Specialist.
• Medicate and manage treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Accurately record medical data in CHCS for each case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
