Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Active, unrestricted medical license (state‑specific as required)
• ABEM board‑certified or board‑eligible status in Emergency Medicine
• Active DEA registration (including Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V)
• Current‑year influenza vaccination
• Two years of documented case logs and Continuing Medical Education (CME)
• Successful completion of required sedation protocols
• For non‑ABEM certified physicians: Current ACLS, PALS, and prior ATLS experience
