Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join a community-based hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ, offering 24/7 coverage and a collaborative environment with hospital medicine and critical care support.

The role requires board-certification/eligibility in EM or FM/IM with 3 years of EM experience, and the ability to work in the United States. Join a team committed to clinical excellence and clinician well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation and a 24-bed Emergency Department.
• Manage a variety of emergency cases.
• Collaborate closely with Sound's hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
• Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience.

Scheduling:

• Physician coverage 24 hrs a day (2, 12-hour shifts) plus 12-hour fellowship coverage a day.
