Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join a close-knit team at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. Practice with a 24-bed ED, level III trauma designation, and 24/7 specialty support across cardiology, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, neurology, psychiatry, oncology and nephrology in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation and a 24-bed Emergency Department.
• Manage a variety of emergency cases.
• Collaborate closely with Sound's hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
• Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Education

Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
