Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. in Torrington, CT, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) for a full-time role in a busy Emergency Department.

You will evaluate and manage a broad mix of ED patients and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams in a technologically advanced setting using Epic EMR and AI tools. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited program with CT PA/NP licensure, and DEA registration (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Active or eligible Connecticut Physician Assistant or APRN licensure required.
• DEA and Connecticut controlled substance registration, or eligibility to obtain, required.
• Minimum of one year of Advanced Practice experience required; Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a diverse population of mixed-acuity emergency department patients.
• Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, behavioral health specialists, case managers and rehabilitation services.
• Flexible rotating schedule with day and night shifts, no overnight requirements, and no call responsibilities.
• Practice in a technologically advanced environment utilizing Epic EMR, Dragon dictation, and Ambience AI documentation support tools.
• Access to an integrated statewide network of specialists, diagnostic services, and transfer resources.
