Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in Kennewick, WA, and lead the way in patient care at Trios Southridge Hospital

People First in Kennewick

Local Team Collaboration:

  • At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
  • Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds.
  • Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers.
  • Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Physician Assistant certification.
  • Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

  • APPs work 11-hour shifts.
  • Full-time is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.
  • CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.
  • Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.

  • Beautiful nature includes three major rivers and mountain ranges nearby, with plenty of outdoor recreation. Wineries and vineyards, river recreation, fishing, golf, and entertainment events offer year-round activities.
  • Known for excellent schools, which make for a great place to raise a family.
  • Up-and-coming metropolitan areas and larger metropolitan areas of Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland, Oregon, are only a few hours away.
