Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) seeks an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine in Maryland. The candidate must have completed an ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, and hold an unrestricted PA license.

A minimum of 24 months EM PA experience in the last 36 months is required, with at least 12 months of residency/fellowship in a DHA-acceptable specialty. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Training Program and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Any State).
• At least 24 months of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant experience within the last 36 months in the specialty.
• Residency or fellowship training of 12 months or more in a medical specialty program acceptable to the DHA.

• Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory.


• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA)


• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Any State)


• Have at least 24 months of experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant within the last 36 months in the specialty.


• In addition to the education requirements listed, specialty PAs must complete residency or fellowship training of 12 months or more in a medical specialty program acceptable to the DHA.


• BLS

• Monday - Friday


• No nights, weekends, or holidays


• 8 hours a day
