Position Overview

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine (EM) physician for a leadership role as the facility medical director at two emergency departments. This position combines clinical practice with administrative responsibilities, focusing on operational excellence, patient care quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Clinical and administrative leadership: Oversee clinical operations and administrative functions to ensure high standards of patient care.
  2. Team leadership: Guide and mentor physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
  3. Advocacy and collaboration: Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork among staff and patients.
  4. Operational improvement: Enhance processes to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes.
