Job summary

SGMC is seeking emergency medicine physicians for its Valdosta, GA locations, including the Main Campus ED and Smith Northview ED. The roles offer flexible night, weekend and holiday shifts with differential pay, and a 1099 employment arrangement with an independent local group.

The position requires board eligibility/certification in Emergency Medicine and GA licensure. Epic EMR experience is a plus as we deliver comprehensive care across a Level 3 Trauma Center and stroke-certified facility.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/certified in Emergency Medicine; family practice/internal medicine considered case-by-case for Smith-Northview location.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Flexible scheduling with night, weekend, and holiday differential pay.
• 1099 status with a local independent emergency medicine group.
• EMR is Epic; collaborate with inter-disciplinary team and referring physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
