Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Wilson, NC seeks a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care across post-acute facilities. Responsibilities include bedside wound management, weekly rounds, and use of our EMR system to document care in real time.

Flexible schedule with no nights or weekends. The role supports a mobile practice across local facilities, typically 2–3 facilities per day, within a 40–60 mile radius. Minimum of 3 weekdays per week required.

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and LTAC Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Deliver modern wound management using proprietary wound EMR at point of care.
• No nights, no call and no weekend duties; 40–60 mile radius mobile practice; visit 2–3 facilities per day.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
