Job Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens)

Join a dedicated team at a well-respected medical facility located in Watertown, Wisconsin. The Watertown Regional Medical Center is committed to making communities healthier and is looking for passionate Emergency Medicine Physicians to cover shifts from May 8, 2025, to May 14, 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on quality patient care in an inpatient setting, utilizing an advanced EMR system (MediTech / Athena).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care during scheduled shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM and 6 AM to 6 PM.
• Manage patient encounters, averaging 20 patients per shift.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans using MediTech / Athena EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an emergency medical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license preferred but not required.
• Board certification must be current and valid.
