Emcareers is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Locums for a Free-Standing ED in Columbia, SC. Start date June 17, 2026. Long-Term Locums (6+ months) with 24 MD and 8 APC coverage daily; typical shifts 7a-7p; about 30 shifts per month; patient volume ~1/hour; Epic EMR; trauma designation FSED.

ABEM or AOBEM board certification accepted; if not board certified, must be within 2 years of eligibility. ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS required. EM experience <1 year. Temporary privileges available.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED coverage in a Free-Standing ED in Columbia, SC.
• Manage typical shifts with rapid patient turnover and high patient acuity.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure timely patient care and documentation.
