Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Seattle. Shifts available include 7a-4p, 11a-8p and 2p-11p in a busy ED, focusing on timely evaluation, treatment and disposition of patients.

Board Certified or Board Eligible with BLS, ACLS, PALS and DEA is required, plus WA licensure and ~90 days credentialing. AMN provides malpractice insurance and comprehensive travel, lodging and support services.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• WA licensure required or in process.
• WA state credentialing within ~90 days.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and DEA certification.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7a-4p, 11a-8p and 2p-11p available
• Practice Setting: Emergency Department
• Type of Cases: Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients. Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions. Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 90 days
• Certification required: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Drug Enforcement Administration
• Licensure: Washington
