Job summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA seeks an emergency physician to join its ED team, offering flexible hours and a mix of PT/FT shifts. The role provides base salary plus quarterly RVU bonus, comprehensive malpractice insurance, family medical coverage including dental and vision, and retirement benefits.

CME and dues stipends, relocation or sign-on available. Minimum requirements include emergency medicine residency, PA license in PA, ABEM certification/eligibility, and CPR

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine residency completed and ABEM eligible or certified.
• Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license required.
• DEA license and current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency medical care in a high-pressure ED.
• Participate in daily overlapping physician coverage for optimal patient care.
