Job summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, seeks an Emergency Medicine physician for a PT/FT, flexible-hour role in its busy ED.

Position offers base salary with quarterly RVU bonus, comprehensive malpractice coverage, 401K, CME stipends, and family medical coverage. PA licensure, ABEM certification/eligibility, and DEA license are required.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine residency completed with ABEM status.
• Pennsylvania medical license in good standing (unrestricted).
• ABEM certification or board eligibility; DEA license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency medical care in the ED under high acuity and fast-paced conditions.
• Participate in daily overlapping physician coverage to ensure optimal patient care.
