Position Overview

Join a dynamic Emergency Department in San Antonio with 14,000 annual visits and a focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork. This opportunity is ideal for EM-trained physicians or those boarded in FM or IM with emergency experience.

• ED Volume: 14,000 annual visits
• ED Beds: 9
• Inpatient Beds: 6
• Admission Rate: 5%
• Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage daily, plus APP support
• Documentation: Picis
• Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS

Qualifications

• BC/BP in Emergency Medicine
• OR BC/BP in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

Compensation

• Base Compensation: $220-$250/hr (W2); $240-$280/hr (1099)
• Sign-On Bonus: $50,000
• CME/BEA: $4,000 tax-free annually
• New Grad Package: $6,500 + licensing costs (state & DEA) in year one
• Employment Models: W-2 and 1099 available
